ČAGLAVICA — Houses of eight Serb returnee families in the village of Babljak in the municipality of Uroševac in Kosovo have been broken into and robbed, KIM Radio says.
Uroševac municipality coordinator Milan Janjić has said that eight houses were robbed last night and that all of the furniture and home appliances were taken.
Kosovo police (KPS) have made an official report about the robbery.
“The owners of the houses were not there last night. Some of them were in Gračanica and some of them are on vacation. All of the furniture, tables, chairs, stoves, TVs, everything they had was taken,” Janjić pointed out.
About 30 Serb families returned to the village of Babljak. Most of the families are occasionally absent while 11 of them never leave the village.
According to KIM Radio, the police did not want to give any information about the case.
